The Tudor Choir presents its annual benefit, “Vinum Bonum – Good Wine!” on Sunday, September 25th at 3:00 PM. Celebrate food, wine and friends in an exquisite setting, the historic Leary Mansion on Seattle’s Capitol Hill. This year’s benefit will feature a wine tasting led by renowned Seattle sommelier Arnie Millan followed by an intimate gallery performance by the choir. A silent auction will complete the event. Discover new favorites while tasting a variety of carefully chosen wines. All proceeds support the Tudor Choir.
The silent auction will consist of a variety of fine wines including a 1978 Pauillac, 2002 Caymus Vineyards, Special Selection, 1985 Niebaum-Coppola and 1985 Renaissance Reserve. Other items up for bid include a private house concert by Tudor Choir baritone David Stutz and tickets to Pacific Northwest Ballet, Early Music Guild, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Northwest Boy Choir, Cappella Romana and other arts events.

The Tudor Choir is a professional vocal chamber ensemble founded in 1993 by Artistic Director Doug Fullington. The group maintains a flexible membership of between 8 and 40 singers and specializes in the performance of Renaissance, early American and English choral music. As Artists-in-Residence at St. Mark's Cathedral, Seattle, and a Resident Ensemble at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, the choir presents an annual subscription series and has performed under guest conductors including Peter Phillips, Paul Hillier, Andrew Parrott, Stephen Cleobury and Martin Haselböck. The choir also has made guest appearances with the Mark Morris Dance Group, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Early Music Guild of Seattle, Seattle Baroque, and in conjunction with Seattle Opera. The choir's recordings of Tudor polyphony, English carols and early American music have been released on the Loft Recordings label.
